Law of Love

Pour forth the oil,
Pour boldly forth,
It will not fail until thou failest
Vessels to provide,--
Which it may largely fill.

Make channels for the streams of love,
Where they may broadly run.
And, love has overflowing streams
To fill them, every one.

But if at any time we cease
Such channels to provide,
The very founts of love for us,
Will soon be parched, and dried.

For we must share, if we would keep
That blessing from above:
To cease to give, we cease to have,
Such is the law of love.

DEATHLESS

By Ella Wheeler Wilcox

There lies in the centre of each man's heart
    A longing and love for the good and pure;
And if but an atom, or larger part,
I tell you this shall endure---endure---
After the body has gone to decay---
Yea, after the world has passed away.

The longer I live and the more I see
Of the struggle of souls toward the heights above,
The stronger this truth comes home to me:
    That the Universe rests on the shoulders of love;
A love so limitless, deep, and broad,
That men have renamed it and called it---God.

And nothing that ever was born or evolved,
Nothing created by light or force,
But deep in its system there lies dissolved
    A shining drop from the Great Love Source;
A shining drop that shall live for aye---
Though kingdoms may perish and stars decay.

Mystical 777

All mystical students know that the number 7 is the highest and purest form or position mathematically that may be attained through the uplifting of the spiritual consciousness. The number 3, 5, and 7 have always been significant in esoteric matters including Freemasonry, as well as Rosicrucianism. In the Martinist Order the 7's are highly significant and in many other divisions of esoteric schools the mathematical and vibratory value of 7 indicates the purest form of consciousness, life, love, and divinity. Three is the common symbol of the Trinity wherein all things are united while 7 represents the triangle upon the square, the 3 above the 4, but united in a manner to place the trinity of 3 above all of the material things represented by the cube or square. Three times 7 gives a total of 21, and if the digits of 21 are added together we secure 3 which is the number of divinity and of perfection. Therefore, the sacred symbol of the Cathedral is 7-7-7 upon the white triangle of pure spirituality.

The emblem of the triangle with 7 at each corner will be found on nearly all of the sacred, spiritual manuscripts of the mystics of the Orient and in many of the secret, private, esoteric schools of Europe. Dr. Papus, the one-time Supreme Grand Master of the Martinist Order, and perhaps the greatest living representative of the high spiritual doctrines of St. Martin, always used the white triangle with 7-7-7 impressed upon it as his spiritual emblem before his altar when reaching out to the Cosmic to contact the consciousness and souls of the Martinists in all lands. This eminent mystic whose very name is reverenced throughout the esoteric world made the symbol of the triangle and 7-7-7 more highly respected and reverenced than any other mystic of the past. In the archives of the esoteric schools preserved at Cologne and in similar archives in London, Paris, and Lyon, there are old vellum books bound with sheepskin and rapidly becoming yellow and faded, but on their covers is impressed the white triangle with the 7 on each point. Everyone familiar with esoteric principles knows that any book bound under and ensconsed by this sacred emblem and three sacred numbers is one of the Holy of Holies in the secret literature of all esoteric schools.

But like many other sacred emblems that immediately command respect and reverence among mystics, the symbol of the white triangle and the three numbers 7-7-7 have been misused at times in the past. Those who have wanted to appropriate some of the most idealistic emblems in order to use them to cover over any acts or thoughts that were questionable, found it convenient at different times to label their activities and reports, their books or their manuscripts with the symbol of the triangle and 7-7-7. But such deception could have its effect only on the general public, the unlearned, or those unfamiliar with mystical symbolism. Whenever a real student of mysticism found a book or manuscript bearing this esoteric symbol and group of numbers and found also that the book dealt with materialistic matters exclusively and not with Cosmic or spiritual principles, he knew that he had before him not only a book of errors but a deliberately conceived and planned piece of deception. The numbers 7-7-7 were first used on some of the rare manuscripts found in the tomb of Christian Rosenkreuz among the books known as Liber T and Liber M. But long before his time the number 7 used three times or occasionally six times was recognized as a symbol that would lead to peace, spiritual attunement, Cosmic blessings and benedictions. For this reason the numbers 7-7-7 were used in conjunction with our Cathedral of the Soul. We call the little book that describes the great Cosmic assembly Liber 777. If you are a non-member and have not read this booklet and derived benefit from its many special features, we recommend that you get a copy at once by following the instructions given in the little box at the beginning of this article. You will note that the booklet deals wholly with the most beautiful of spiritual things and affords you an opportunity in your mystical practices to attune yourself with the Cosmic in unity with many others. Through these contacts the blessings of the Cosmic may be yours without any obligations except your spiritual obligation to God and the Cosmic. Why not join with many thousands of others throughout the western world in keeping these beautiful periods that lift the soul and consciousness into the sublime realm of peace, health, and happiness.

R+C Vowel Sounds & Correct Intonation

R+C Vowel Sounds & Correct Intonation:

“The path of Light sings, and boundless spaces resound!”

Nicholas Roerich (1874-1947)

In our Rosicrucian work the proper use of vowel sounds is found in their intonation for mystical purposes. In the east, vowel sounds are also known as mantras. The most famous one being the vowel or mantra of ‘OM’.

We come to discover in our studies that all existence is a vibrating energy. Different frequencies of this energy manifest to our consciousness as different ‘things’ in the material world. Although this energy is constant and eternal, its manifestations conform to an inherent LAW and ORDER. The manifestations of this energy are constantly in a state of change or flux. Life is potentially more fluid and plastic in its manifestations than we initially realise.

Vowel sounds have a particular effect upon the material and psychic aspect of our beings.

Certain glands and nerve centres in the human body also act as physical counter parts for the chakras or psychic centres in the psychic body. If we intone a particular sound, it can under the right circumstances and with the right intention stimulate the cosmic energies in and around us. Sometimes this can be so specific that a certain vowel sound can be used to help manifest a particular set of cosmic vibrations in our lives.

The first two vowels are also interconnected! They represent the dynamic creative principles of the cosmos. In a sense you could also liken them to Ying and Yang!

Given below are the principle vowel sounds used in the R+C work of AMORC with an explanation based upon comments originally made by Dr.H.Spencer-Lewis.

“The real origin of singing and chanting can be found in the proper use of vowel sounds for mystical purposes. Every vowel sound has its proper pitch or tone in the musical scale. Each vowel sound is related to a specific colour and nerve centre in the human body.”

Here then are the principle and important vowel sounds;

RA
Pronounced like “RAAH”, it is intoned on A natural above middle C.
The “A” sound should be drawn out like the “A” in father.
The sacred royal sound of RA is the creative, masculine power of God

MA
Pronounced like “MAAH”, it is also intoned on A natural above middle C.
The “A” sound should be drawn out like the “A” in father.

This is the feminine, maturing aspect of God.

When the RA sound and the MA sound are alternated together they help create new conditions around us and produce creative power. These two vowels, when alternated, also aid in protecting us against harm.

KHEI
Pronounced like a double syllable “KAY-EE” and is intoned on the note of E natural above middle C.
This is a soothing, healing, peace producing vowel.

AUM
Pronounced like “AAH” – “OOH” – “EMMM” and is intoned on the note of
D above middle C.
This sound helps maintain the body in good harmony and is also a health giving vowel.

MEH
Pronounced like the word “MAY” it is intoned on the note of C in the middle octave.
This is the psychic tone note. It attunes the psychic centre of the human system to the cosmic.

THO
This is the invigorating and arousing vowel. It is intoned on the note of F sharp over middle C. It is pronounced like “TH-OW” with the accent on the “TH” sound and the “O” pronounced like “O” in “THROW”.

EHM
This is pronounced like the word “AIM”. The note is D natural above middle C and the accent is on the first syllable.
This vowel is the sleep producing sound that quiets the nervous system and ends pain and suffering.

When using these vowel sounds one should sit comfortably and relax. Inhale, hold your breath briefly then exhale and sing the vowel. This should be done three times for each vowel sound.

Use the sequence of three repetitions for each vowel once in the morning, then at mid-day and then last thing at night before retiring.

The most effective spirit to use these sounds in is one of reverence. Imagine that as you say these sounds they tune into the sacred universal version with all of its power. In a sense you are creating a resonance or sympathetic attunement with that which already exists as extant within the universe itself. Sacred sounds are part of the original lost word or laws that bring everything into existence.

Sacred Intonation

IN A treatise on Song, Max Spicker has written: "Beauty of Tone is dual; a material, sensuous beauty in and of the Tone alone, and a spiritual beauty giving it inspiration and character."

Rosicrucian students, through mystical training, may realize to the fullest the dual beauty of Tone. Moreover, with the understanding acquired through the study of their monographs, they may realize that beauty of Tone is not only dual--it is also sacred, being a manifestation of the Breath of Life.

Vocal Tone is both material and psychic in its manifestation. Material Tone is produced by the entire material body. For this reason, the careful teacher of Voice considers many points concerning the general health and well-being of the student, for excellent health is required to produce Tone that is vibrant with buoyancy, vitality and power.

The first point to be considered in building Tone technique is posture. In the monographs of the Sixth Degree valuable information is given concerning the skeleton framework of the human body: how delicately it is poised and balanced on the framework of the feet, how beautifully it supports the various organs, and how wonderfully it shields and protects certain organs. If the posture of this delicately adjusted framework is poor or deficient, various ills may result, such as: shoulders out of position, sunken chest, weakened waist muscles, crooked back and many other malformations. All of these, or any one of them may cause illness or some physical ailment. In the study of voice fine posture is one of the great essentials of good tone production. Certain exercises are given to improve and perfect posture. Practiced over a period of months, the student walks, stands and sits with good posture, and this very essential item regarding body-welfare sometimes brings about a tremendous change in the general health of the individual. Fine posture not only improves personal appearance, but it has a most beneficial effect upon the student's attitude, helping to create poise.

Tone beautifully rendered, must be absolutely free from tension or interference, and float on the breath. In vocal technique the most careful consideration is given to the breath control of the singer. Exercises involving deep inhalation and smooth, evenly executed exhalation build strength and endurance in the student. The buoyant expansion of the diaphragm, without tension in any part of the body, contributes to the power and stability of Tone. Poor breathing and poor exhalation are often the cause of the much dreaded Tremolo.

Added to posture and breath control is the subtle art of Voice Placement. The object of placing a Voice is to cause an adjustment of the vibrations of Tone that will enable Tone to float on the breath entirely free from tension or interference. In studying the organ or piano, one may watch the fingers operate the keys and observe the technique of Tone production, but one cannot see a Voice nor watch any of the adjustments that occur in the vocal chords or other parts of vocal mechanism to change pitch or produce Tone. All manner of procedures have been undertaken by teachers to place the Voice, and thousands of students have taken up one method after another only to become confused and discouraged.

Voice teachers of today agree that voice placement should be obtained by a mental picture of the Tone. Those who teach voice placement from the physical point of view--coaching students to hold the tongue with a spoon, or to cause the Tone to lift the soft palate, or that the lips must be distorted in some fashion--bring about tension in these parts of the vocal mechanism, thereby defeating the production of Tone that is mellow, loose, ethereal and pure. Teachers who present a mental picture of Tone teach the focusing of vibrations just above the teeth, or just back of the cheeks below the eyes, or finest of all--bringing the vibrations to a focal point back of the forehead between the eyes.

In the Western World of today, competition, speed of living, the hurry of crowded schedules, and the wear and tear of a multitude of activities cause a high tension and severe strain that is seen even in growing children. In order that the body may release Tone that is smooth and velvety, the student of Voice must realize the value of relaxation. Many fine exercises are given for this purpose, for strain and tension must be eliminated if freedom of Tone is to be realized. Relaxation of the entire body and a breaking up of the stiff lines of a set posture are conducive to the release of Tone.

Summing up these few items, one finds that the technique of material Tone embraces:

Correct Posture
Correct Breathing
Correct Voice Placement
Relaxation

The psychic manifestation of Tone is of paramount interest to the student of mysticism. The true mystic knows that the Material Tone, perfected by the best possible technique, is merely a vehicle for the real Tone which is produced by Soul. The old saying, "as a man thinketh so is he," is true of the Voice, for as a man thinks and lives, so does he color the tonal quality of his Voice in speech and song. Every emotion, be it good or bad, uplifting or degrading, reflects its vibrations through the medium of Tone. It is a mystical truth that "Sound is the Father of Creation," for in the beginning the emanation of the word from the Divine Source brought into being all manifestations of creation. So in an infinitesimal way man sends forth vibrations through sound that are creative or destructive according to the emotions that color his Voice.

In the sanctums of Rosicrucian students, sacred vowel sounds are intoned as a means of attunement. These vowel sounds affect certain psychic centers in the individual, arousing with vibrations the dual functions of these glands. Correct breathing and Voice placement are invaluable to the Tone in providing a perfect channel for the psychic effect of these centers through Tone. The mental tone picture of focusing the vibrations of Tone back of the forehead between the eyes brings this point of focus in front of the pineal gland, called the "Seat of the Soul." Proper breathing fortifies the glands of the chest and head which contribute to the psychic value of the Tone as well as the material value. The Suprarenal glands, being the center of the emotions, supply emotional value to the Tone. Too much stress cannot be placed on the excellent exercise of breathing given in an early Neophyte Degree. This exercise consists of inhaling and concentrating on various parts of the body, bringing to the individual a keen realization of the psychic self. It also develops a tremendous power within the singer, and the use of it may enable a soloist to sing with very little of the objective consciousness. The same is true of speech.

Every individual contains within himself a nucleus of tremendous power. The mystic is trained to know and use this power in the right way. The human Voice is one of the great channels through which this power vibrates and it behooves every sincere student to purify, beautify and perfect this channel whether for speech or song.

Messiah

It is well known that the Council of Nicea did not know beforehand what date to use as the birthdate of the Messiah, the Vernal equinox, or the Winter solstice.
They chose the date of December 25th because the Roman troops celebrated a holiday on that day, making it a safe day to practice their own service.

July 25th was a festival for the birth of the Egyptian Messu at the feast of the Messiu on the first day of the Egyptian year, which was the 25th of July.
(Remember, the equinox has drifted through houses since. The Easter equinox kept traveling and the birthplace shifting, from Virgo to the lion, from the lion to the crab, from the twins to the bull, from the ram to the fishes.)

Born of Virgo. This is an odd place to begin, because Virgo in Latin means Virgin.

The Eastern Equinox entered the sign of the fishes about 255 B.C.
During that vast length of 10,000yrs the young Fulfiller was periodically mothered as mortal by the Virgin with Seb for his reputed earthly father and with Anup the baptizer as his precursor and announcer in the wilderness.

The Fulfiller of the Egyptian prophecies was Iusa the Coming Son. Two birthdays were assigned to Iusa, in his two characters of child-Horus and Horus the adult, Horus the Earth-born and Horus the Heaven-born in the Osirian mythos.
As a precursor to Christmas, the Egyptians had the Festival of Uaka, or birthday of Osiris in the Ritual. Osiris, as the young god Horus comes to earth as lord of wine, and is said to be full of win at the Uaka Festival. The birthday of the son of Osiris is celebrated with lots of wine and lots of food and "all good things are to be offered", an ancient form of exchanging gifts.

Burning Bush / Asert Tree

"In his book "Tempest & Exodus" Ralph Ellis quotes an extract from the 'Text of Unas', where Ap-uat calls out, "Who comes forth from the Asert Tree,"  Ap-uat, better known by the Greek name of Anubis was the Jackal who guided the deceased soul on its way to the Stars."
Ash-t means 'Jackal'.
Asher means 'Fire'.

Asert Tree and it's double meaning is only seen by the priestly Craft. It means both 'Jackal-Tree' (referring to Anubis) and 'Fire-Tree', alluding to what is later known as the burning bush, that is said to be on "fire" but not consumed by this "fire."
Also, the Christmas Tree, which is burning with light but not consumed by this light has a star placed atop. Depending on the observer, this could be the Star of David, or this could be the star Sirius - The Dog Star.
NOTE: Thoth was not only called the Ibis-Headed Scribe, but also the Dog-Headed Scribe. In Egypt, the dog was honored as sincere, trustworthy, and courageous.

Veiled Wisdom

Many of the ancient mysteries and religious cultures are easily hidden in plain sight because, "Beauty is in the Eye of the Beholder."
It's not what you look at, but what you See. Every drop of wisdom to be found in the Bible was already written in stone by Egyptians, or Sumerians, or Zoroastrians. We will examine here the many quotes that pre-date the Bible by centuries, yet are almost identical to the biblical echoes.

The Wilderness
"The clothed and unclothed are well-known terms for the elect and the rejected manes; the children of light and the offspring of darkness ( a mane is the soul of a recently dead person, an old term for ghost).
In the trial scenes the spirits who are judged to be sound and pure are told that they may pass on as the clothed, whilst the condemned are designated the unclothed.  Thus the clothed ones pass safely and freely through the desert region of the unclothed.
In the Hebrew version we read, "I have led you forty years in the wilderness, (and) your clothes are not waxen old upon you, and your shoe is not waxen old upon your feet" (Deut. 29:5).     There can be no doubt about these being the divinely clothed and fed, as described in the Ritual, where they eat of the tahen and drink of the water made sweet by the tree of life, and pass, as the clothed, through the wilderness which is called the region of the naked."

Many mystics have written that it takes a serious student 40 days and 40 nights to climb the Tree of Life. There are 32 Paths of Wisdom to Work through. Time is not the same to the Mind as it is to the body.
Time is flexible because it's place is Space and we can bend or curve Space, therefore we can bend Time through astral travel or deep meditation (Inner Space Travel).
In my humble opinion, Deut. 29:5 is referring to a guided-meditation. 'Medha' in Sanskrit means Intelligence or Wisdom. A spiritual journey is not a fleshy journey, for the Kingdom of God is Within!!!

Genesis

The Enuma Elish, 7 BC, is a very detailed account of Genesis, told from the Stars point of view. The Emerald Tablets explain to us that the "old gods" are like men but not like men, in that they are Spheres (Planets). We are 'mountainous' bodies within a sphere as well, but our sphere is called an Aura, which could also be called our atmosphere.
If you have a good imagination, the Enuma Elish account is an action packed, interstellar battle for the ages. We know the "stars have names", but very few know their personalities and the story of their lives, and yet even fewer see the deeper aspects revealed in the "hidden language" of culture, or the Culture of Gods.

The Egyptian Genesis, or Creation, sounds very similar to it's biblical echo. "Let-the-Earth-Be" is a title of Ptah, as the god who calls the earth into existence. By now it should be no surprise to see that the Hebrew names for God and Gods - EL and ELOHIM - was derived from the associated gods of Ptah, ALI.
To explain, in phoenician classes I took, the paleo-hebrew pronunciation of ALHYM was not taught to us as Elohim but rather Alaheim, or Alahim. Which I now see is directly tied to Ptah and his Ali.

YHWH-ELOHIM    KHEPER-PTAH

In the hebrew Tanakh, you will notice the Fiat Lux or Declaration of Light is made by the Elohim, and it is not until the 2nd chapter that you suddenly see YHWH-ELOHIM. This is better explained in the text from Memphis (Egypt), where the story of PTAH to KHEPER-PTAH is explained.

The Genesis described above, "Let-the-Earth-Be" is explained to not be our physical earth, and in our times we understand "light working" well enough to know this was a Light-Print or Blueprint of material Earth. In building the Light-Print, Ptah and the Ali were said to have "set the poles" and lifted the firmament up. By determining the Magnetic Body of a structure, your defining it's overall mass and movement.

My point now is that through this initial Creation/Genesis, Kheper-Ptah comes into being and is called the Creator of All things that have come into being. Do you see the relation between PTAH and His Ali/Elohim, and them immediately being called Ptah-Kheper/YHWH-Elohim after the actual material creation?

In the biblical Genesis, the Word becomes flesh. We know this to be the vibrations of a Word of God that animate everything so that "nothing is at rest, everything is in motion." This comes from the Creation of Kheper-Ptah, where Kheper says that he brought his own name into his mouth and uttered it, as the beginning. Other names/words were also uttered in the Creation.
Kheper says, "I raised them up from out of the Nun (Nu) and a state of inertia."

In one of my poems, I refer to Nun as:
"Zero, nun, the chaotic wave.
The Son is born within your nave."

But Kheper-Ptah had nowhere to stand so he laid a foundation with Ma, who became a co-worker with Ptah, the Divine Artificer. Here you see how we later came to refer to the Veil of Isis as also the Veil of Maya, with Maya defined as Illusion. Ma, or mom is ironic because Eve, the mother of us all, is always connected to serpents, which symbolize deception/illusion to some, wisdom to others.
The Veil of Ma was most likely weaved and set in place at this stage of the Great Work. This also speaks of the beginning of what becomes the egyptian Maat Philosophy.

"Stated in modern language, he might be said to have called his creations into being by word of mouth in uttering the word to his co-workers.      This word, as Egyptian, was the well-known Hekau or great magical word of power, which was female before it was assigned to the deity as male; the living word of Apt; the great magic power of Isis or of Mã, before it was ascribed to Ptah in the monotheism of Memphis."

KHEPER + MA = KHEMA

Khema is an early name for Egypt. Beyond this, the word Khep-Ma become Chep-Ma or Chek-Ma. Chokma is the Power of Yetzirah, or The Power of the World of Formation. Kochma is another variant of Chokma, both related to Kheper-Ma
The initial creation by Ptah and Ali was said to have to built Amenta, the "secret earth." Which is echoed in the Emerald Tablets when Thoth carves out the great Halls of Amenti to store his Wisdom, before erecting the Great Pyramid over the entrance into the Halls.

It was written, "Now the creation of all the gods (Atum and his associates) was when proclamation was made of all the divine names in his wisdom." - the Wisdom of Ptah. Gods and powers are only created when Names are given to them.
"out of the ground lahu-Elohim formed every beast of the field and every fowl of the air, and brought them to the man to see what he would call them. And the man gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field" (ch. ii. 19-20).

THE CROSS & The Crown

"A religion of the cross was first of all established in the mysteries of Memphis as the cult of Ptah and his son Iu-em-hetep, otherwise Atum-Horus, who passed at Annu into Atum-Ra, the father in spirit, with Iusa, son of Iusãas, as the ever-coming Messianic son.
A cross with equal arms denotes the time of equal day and night. Hence it is a figure of the equinox."

Revelation says, "Be thou faithful unto death and I will give thee a crown of life" (Rev. II. 10).

The crown of Horus was the crown of life that was the gift of his father Tum. Horus was lord of the diadem. Through him the deceased is made master of the double crown.
